In addition to the people, only one thing makes a place great: the land.
A half-century ago, these 400 acres of Texas land were occupied by ranchers who found perfection in the natural drainage and verdant fields. When in the 1970s the Dallas area was growing and successful people were demanding high-quality homespace for their families, Seis Lagos was born.
Prized as a planned community, Seis Lagos provides residents a scope of amenities uncommon in most Dallas area communities. What’s more, residents enjoy the benefits of city services, with custom homes set in the relaxed atmosphere of open country.
Homesites vary from 1/2 acre to 1 or more acre. The Seis Lagos Utility District provides concrete roads, water and sewer service to the community.
Phase I contains 199 homes. This phase was completed in the mid-1990s.
Phase II added 57 homes in 2001.
Phase III, in 2001, added 71 homesites on 55 acres centered around Hidden Lake, in southeastern Seis Lagos.
Phase IV contains about 70 homes located along the southern region of Seis Lagos.
A mature homeowner’s association monitors the architectural compatibility of all homes and improvements, and is responsible for the care and maintenance of all community amenities. From young couples and families to retirees, Seis Lagos has a strong community spirit with activities for almost any interest.
